Dr. Frendo is a fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon devoted to the evaluation and management of a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric spinal disorders including: degenerative, traumatic, infectious, complex deformity and neoplastic conditions of the spine.
Dr. Frendo received a Bachelor of Science degree at The State University of New York at Albany. He earned his medical degree from The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He then completed an internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Memorial Hospital in York, PA. He then completed an internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Memorial Hospital in York, PA. While completing his residency he received extensive subspecialty training in spinal surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and The Houghston Clinic in Columbus, GA. He went on to complete a spine surgery fellowship at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Dr. Frendo is an active member of the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, the American Osteopathic Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the Nassau County Medical Society.
